Ryan Ono collaborates with shellfish growers, fishermen, scientists, coastal residents, natural resource managers and others to develop sound climate policies that ensure a healthy and productive ocean. His background is in sustainable fisheries management and ocean acidification policy. Ryan was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, spent ten years on the east coast for school and work, and has finally settled in the middle to work out of Ocean Conservancy’s Austin, Texas office. He is a fan of history, science fiction and crustaceans.
