Jeremy Davies is a biologist and geographic information system (GIS) specialist who has been involved in marine conservation work for many years. He chose the title ‘marine conservation geographer’ because it neatly combines his passions for the sea, conservation biology, geography and the art of visualizing data with maps. He previously worked for the Arctic Program at the Pew Charitable Trusts and at NOAA Fisheries in Seattle, Washington. He lives in Bellingham, WA, where he enjoys exploring all the cool places the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Jeremy earned his M.S. in Biology from Western Washington University and his B.S. in Wildlife Science from Oregon State University.
